Do you disconnect the appliance?
We handle simple unplug-and-go removals. Anything on a gas line or hard plumbing should be disconnected by a licensed plumber or electrician before we arrive, for your safety and ours.
What happens to the refrigerator?
Refrigerators and freezers go to a facility that recovers the refrigerant before the metal is recycled. Venting refrigerant is illegal in California, so this is not optional.
Can you take a TV?
Yes. Televisions and monitors are e-waste in California and cannot go in the trash — we route them to an e-waste handler.
